Erk....cockroaches. Like many Sydney households, we have them in the warm months and they are horrible. This year the ones we have seen are the huge dark brown ones; someone told me they aren't as bad as the small brown ones. Erk. It's Sydney's warm humid weather that brings them out from their hidey-holes and they can go right back as far as I'm concerned. Erk.This is Bianca The Beautiful resting in the kitchen sink. Doesn't everyone? The cats can hear a loud noise outside (so can I, and I am home alone); they are prowling and now Binky has jumped up onto the windowsill for a better look. She's braver than I am.
well... to me that's a little scary.... how do you get rid of them???? do they stay around all year??? I guess it's too cold where I live for cockroaches - LOL... but we have other critters!
ReplyDeleteIve had cockroaches here in toronto before. Debbie, I wouldnt say it gets too cold for them up here.
ReplyDeletemind you, at the time, i was living in an over-the-store appartment and all of them are joined up so who knows where they came in from, dispite my best efforts to nuke the little bastards.
